How to Prepare for a Hurricane

Problem: CoastalReady identified a need for practical hurricane preparedness training for employees, community partners, and residents in hurricane-prone regions. Many individuals lacked confidence in understanding hurricane hazards, interpreting official alerts, and knowing what actions to take before, during, and after a storm. Existing preparedness resources were often text-heavy, inconsistent, or difficult to apply during high-stress emergency situations, creating gaps in safety awareness and emergency readiness.

Solution: To address this challenge, an interactive Articulate Rise course was developed to provide practical hurricane preparedness and safety training for those employees, community partners, and residents in hurricane-prone regions. The course incorporates interactive learning activities, including process interactions and labeled graphics, to reinforce key preparedness concepts and support learner engagement throughout the experience. Learners leave the course with a stronger understanding of how to prepare for hurricanes, respond more safely during severe weather, and approach recovery with greater awareness and caution.

Solution: To address these concerns, OptiStream Solutions, Inc. is implementing time management training focused on prioritization, scheduling, goal setting, and task categorization techniques. The organization hopes to improve employee efficiency, decision-making, and overall productivity among its younger professionals.

Mindfulness: An Approach to A Better Well-Being

Problem: The employees at Faithful Finance are given demanding deadlines to please their employers and customers. After a recent staff survey, 80% of the company's employees had mentioned high levels of stress and a decline in their overall well-being. 

Solution: Faithful Finance is asking for training to help their employees develop strategies to begin a mindful life. The course focuses on developing mindfulness skills and techniques by improving self-awareness and body awareness.  It includes a variety of practices and activities to encourage emotional regulation, mental clarity, and relaxation. The overall outcome of this course is for the employees at Faithful Finance to be able to feel less stress throughout their work days. Also, the employer would like to see 65% improvement among employees' productivity and efficiency in all aspects of their work.
